Introduction
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan), farmers across India receive ₹6000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2000. These payments are made via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers.
So far, 19 installments have been released, with the most recent one (19th) sent on February 24 from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Now, all eyes are on the 20th installment.

Who Will NOT Receive the 20th Installment?
The government has clearly stated that farmers who fail to meet the updated rules will not receive the upcoming installment. Here’s who may miss out:
- Farmers without eKYC completed
- Farmers with incomplete or unverified land records
- New applicants with errors or incorrect documents
- Bank account not linked with Aadhaar (Bank-Aadhaar Seeding)
If any of the following is missing — eKYC, Land Verification, or Aadhaar Seeding — the payment will be blocked.
What to Do if You Haven’t Received Past Installments?
- Complete eKYC immediately
- Verify land records through the local agriculture department
- Ensure correct documents are submitted (especially for new applicants)
- Check that Aadhaar is seeded with your bank account
