The recruitment drive aims to fill over 6200 positions for the role of Technician. This continues the trend of yearly vacancies, with opportunities available in 2025 following the 2024 recruitment. The total number of posts is 6,238, divided into two categories:
- Technician Grade I Signal: 183 Posts
- Technician Grade III: 6,055 Posts
Important Dates for Application
The application process for the RRB Technician recruitment is entirely online. Candidates must adhere to the following schedule:
- Application Start Date: June 28
- Application End Date: July 28 (until 12:00 AM)
- Correction Window: August 1 to August 10
Eligibility Criteria
This recruitment is open to all eligible candidates from any state or district in India. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply for these positions.
Age Limit (as of July 1, 2025)
The age requirements vary depending on the post:
- For Technician Grade I Signal: The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 33 years.
- For Technician Grade III: The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 30 years.
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government rules. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5-year relaxation, while OBC candidates receive a 3-year relaxation.

Selection Process
The selection process for the RRB Technician posts will consist of three main stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): An online examination to shortlist candidates.

Salary Details
