Introduction
The Government of India has launched the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana 2025, offering financial support, training, and loans to skilled workers and small business owners. Announced on 15th August from the Red Fort and launched on 17th September, this scheme directly benefits working-class citizens through bank transfers and hands-on training support.

Who is Eligible?
To apply for this scheme:
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen
- Must be above 18 years of age
- Government employees and income tax payers are not eligible
- Only one member per family can apply
- Not applicable to big businessmen or individuals currently benefiting from schemes like PMEGP, PM Mudra, or PM Samman Nidhi unless the previous loan is fully repaid

Training & Financial Support Breakdown
- Training Program
- Duration: 15 to 20 days (Basic and Advanced)
- Daily Allowance: ₹500
- Total Earnings: ₹10,000 during training
- Toolkit Assistance
- Grant: ₹15,000 for tools (e.g., sewing machine for tailors)
- Loan Structure
- Phase 1: ₹1 lakh for 18 months
- Phase 2: ₹2 lakh for 30 months
- Interest Rate: 13%, out of which only 5% is borne by the beneficiary
- Monthly EMI: Approximately ₹5,300 to ₹5,400
- Interest gets waived if paid on time
Note:
If you choose not to undergo training, you won’t receive the ₹10,000 training allowance or ₹15,000 toolkit grant — but you can still apply for the ₹3 lakh loan in two phases.

How to Apply for PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2025
Important: You cannot apply from your mobile or personal device.
You must visit the nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) to apply.
Steps:
- Visit a CSC center (₹50 fee may apply)
- Submit the required documents
- Get form approval from village officials (Mukhiya/Sarpanch)
- Wait for a call from the training center for verification and enrollment
- Attend training and receive payments directly in your bank account
